Captain Lawrence Kolsch - Week of 1/23/12



You may have sampled this one at Tap-NY this year. A Kolsch is a traditional German style of beer first brewed in Cologne. You'll notice the straw yellow color and generous head as you pour this one out.  Captain Lawrence Kolsch is very drinkable and therefore makes a great session beer.  You'll taste a little of the malt that generates a pleasant cereal-like flavor with slightly bitter hops to finish it out.
