Since we have yet to showcase a Cream Ale as our beer of the week, I thought we'd go with one of the best.  Sixpoint's Sweet Action certainly isn't your grandfather's can of Genny.  This one's full of flavor and body.  According to Sixpoint, this beer is named Sweet Action because it's sweet (from the quality barley malt used) and full of action (from the generus amount of hops).  This golden amber beer clocks in at 5.2% ABV and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by the toasty flavor and soft carbonation that gives this beer it's creamy smooth texture.  For years, Sixpoint's amazing beers have only been available on tap, meaning that I'd have to travel down Brooklyn or Manhattan to grab a pint or two. But I'm now happy to report that Sixpoint just started canning a few of their most popular styles, including Sweet Action.  So fill up and give this one a try, I guarantee you'll be back for a case of cans for you next barbecue.
