Green Day has just announced that they’ll be performing at next month’s South by Southwest festival.  Shortly after the band screens their two documentaries at the fest, ¡Cuatro! and Broadway Idiot, the guys will play a concert at Austin City Limits’ Moody Theatre on March 15.

The show marks the band's debut at the annual festival, and is also their first North American live appearance since frontman Billie Joe Armstrong shocked the world with an angry outburst during a music festival performance in Las Vegas in September 2012. 

Green Day will kick off their rescheduled North American tour, which was postponed after Armstrong entered rehab, on March 28 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL.  Visit GreenDay.com for the full itinerary.
