Morrissey has pulled out of an appearance on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live scheduled for Tuesday night because of an issue he has with another guest.

The former Smiths frontman, a noted vegetarian, announced on his Facebook page Monday that he was cancelling his appearance due to the scheduled presence of the Duck Dynasty family. The A&E series stars the Robertsons, who run a business that sells duck calls.

The statement reads, "Morrissey is thankful for being invited to perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live tomorrow, February 26. However, he cannot morally be on a television program where the cast members of Duck Dynasty will also be guests. Morrissey would be honored to play the show, if Duck Dynasty were removed."

For Morrissey's concert Friday at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, the venue will offer more vegetarian dishes than usual.
