Morrissey's ongoing health problems have forced him to cancel the rest of his North American tour dates.
In a statement posted on his Facebook page, the ex-Smiths frontman's rep says, "Despite his best efforts to try to continue touring, Morrissey has to take a hiatus and will not be able to continue on the rest of the tour."
A total of 22 dates have been cancelled, beginning with his scheduled Monday show in Lawrence, Kansas.
The 53-year-old Morrissey had recently postponed a San Francisco concert because he was suffering from double pneumonia. He'd also rescheduled a number of other concerts so he could receive treatment for a bleeding ulcer and Barrett’s esophagus -- a complication of chronic gastroesophageal reflux disease, which causes heartburn.
