Dan Hitchcock, the 26 year old owner of Rushing Duck brewery used to fall down a lot as a kid. So much so, that his mother dubbed him "Beanhead". That's where the name of this amazing Coffee Stout comes from. Winner of the Hudson Valley Cup at the Hudson Valley Brew Fest, this beer is a winner. Smokey roasted flavors, lots of coffee notes... if this is just the beginning of what we can expect from Rushing Duck, I might have to strap on a helmet myself.
