You just can't go wrong with Captain Lawrence.  Fresh beer, made locally and poured directly into your WRRV growler.  I'm a huge fan of their Freshchester Pale Ale (currently on tap at my house), and am new to their Brown Ale.  However, after trying this one out, I think I'm completely hooked. Named after the little birds that fly by the brewery looking for grain after the weather turns cold. Brown Bird is smooth and malty with a subdued hop presence. Weighing in at 4.8% ABV, this beer goes down super easy and puts the emphasis on malt not hops, a nice change of pace from those hoppy Pale Ale's I've been drinking lately.  Cheers!
