From beautiful Burlington Vermont, I'm happy to share another great Magic Hat beer. This is Hex, a malty amber ale with some toffee and caramel flavors and a hint of a smoky finish. It's an Oktoberfest style beer, but one that's worth drinking well into the holidays. This is a great session beer. Easy to drink and at 5.4% alcohol, it won't sneak up on you too fast.  I was bummed that I missed out on my annual pre-Thanksgiving trip to Burlington this year, so I hope you'll join me in drowning my sorrows by hoisting a few of these here at home.
