College basketball comes to it's peak of excitement this week, so I assumed most of you would be looking for a good session beer that's easy to drink and is a crowd pleaser.  This is a great excuse to present our first Austrian beer.  Stiegl from Salzberg, Austria has been brewing beer since 1492... before America was even discovered! Today they still brew their beer the same way, using water from a local spring and hops from the nearby Czech Republic that have been growing in the same fields since the 8th century.  This week's beer is their Stiegl Pils. You'll be able to taste the history in this beer, without a doubt.  It's a clean, crisp pilsener with a great hop bite.  After the first taste, you'll probably want to drink several of these. Luckily it's only 4.9% abv, so it won't fill you up and you'll be able to keep your wits about you.  Drink and enjoy. Prost!
